H & M and Nathalie Rykiel, president and artistic director, reported that the next guest will be the inimitable designer Sonia Rykiel.

For the first time in cooperation with the guest designer Sonia Rykiel, H & M will provide an exclusive collection of lingerie and accessories, which will appear in stores on Dec. 5, 2009. This collection of clothes will be available at 1500 H&M stores, and will be presented in Sonia Rykiel boutiques around the world.

Sonia Rykiel is a real fashion icon, who invented a unique author’s style of femininity, Parisian chic and contemporary styles, as well as functional and comfortable clothing. “Her view on fashion is admired by women of all ages throughout the world “, – commented Margareta van den Bosch, creative adviser H & M.

“Sonia Rykiel’s unique feature is to think of all the women, because the spirit of fashion is more important than material things. This collaboration is an excellent reflection of our philosophy. Lingerie Collection Sonia Rykiel pour H & M is a great opportunity to make designer products available to the huge number of women around the world “, – said Nathalie Rykiel.

In addition, H & M and Sonia Rykiel will release a second collection with H&M in Spring 2010. It will be presented to girls (from 1.5 to 8 years old) and in addition to clothing it will contain fun accessories. The second collection will appear at 250 H&M stores on Feb. 20, 2010.
