Want to Live Longer? Friendship is the Answer

Positive attitude of others can not only improve mood, but also slow the aging process. This was researched by study conducted by scientists from the University of Texas (USA).
1,558 people ages 60 and over took part in the survey. Researchers found out that those who enjoyed the highest respect their families and others, the signs of aging (primarily age-related changes of the nervous system) were less noticable than their less “respectable” friends and acquaintances. Good attitude on the part of others to some extent protectd from disease especially to the elderly.
“We have long been aware of the fact that the attitude of others, that is, the psychological atmosphere in which man lives has an impact on his health – said in an interview with the Air Force, Dr. Glenn Ostir, leader of the study. – But, it turns out its influence is much stronger than expected, and even affects processes such as aging of the organism. “
