Wedge-heeled shoes in this season are a serious competitor to conventional platforms.

Not everybody looks good in wedges, so you would have to correctly estimate the proportions of legs – ankle should not look too thin and skinny.

Here are some of the designs of the wedges that appeared on the Fall/Winter 2009-2010 Runway, among which were Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabanna, Marc Jacobs, Marni and others designers.
