Carlos Miele Spring 2010 Full Fashion Show
“I really wanted to focus on separates this season,” the designer said backstage at the fashion show, “and I also used a lot of black.” His collection was inspired by the pictures from his native Brazil and Rio De Janeiro.There were plenty of floor-length chiffon numbers, in bright prints, sheer blouses, cropped wool trousers, and little vests decorated with silk “dreadlocks” proved the designer is more than capable of producing sophisticated day wear. As for the emphasis on darker hues, Miele was frank: “It’s the main color selling for us right now.”
