7 Best Dressed Women at 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards

For some reason this SAG 2010 Awards, some of the celebrities went overboard with how they were dressed, on some there was something missing. Some celebrities were dressed like they were going to the office party, like Penelope Cruz, or Toni Collete, who looked like she was supposed to be a cake at the Awards. There were also some celebrities that surprised us with their beautiful look like Mariah Carey.

Here at Modamee, we decided to choose the best 10 dressed women on the Red Carpet this Season at SAG awards.

According to Wikipedia.com, “The Screen Actors Guild Awards are an annual award given by the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) to recognize outstanding performances by members. The statuette given, representing a naked man holding both a mask of comedy and a mask of tragedy, is called the Actor. It is 16 inches tall, weighs 12 pounds, and is cast in solid bronze.

SAG Awards have been one of the major awards events in Hollywood since 1995. Nominations for the awards come from 4200 randomly selected members of the union, with the full membership (120,000 as of 2007) available to vote for the winners. The awards have been televised for the past several years on TNT, but now also airs on TBS.

The inaugural SAG Awards aired live on February 25, 1995 from Stage 12, Universal Studios. The second SAG awards aired live from the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, while subsequent awards have been held at the Shrine Exposition Center. Bob Hope was given the first award.

Despite the fact that Drew Barrymore gained some weight she was able to pull of this dress.

Kate Hudson decided to go white this year as we can see from the Golden Globes Awards, but she chose the definitely right. She looks stunning in her dress.

Mariah Carey this time on the Red Carpet looked beautiful, there was nothing “extra” revealed in the front as it was during Golden Globes. The color of the dress also looked great on the Red Carpet. Good job Mariah, keep it up.

Lea Michele did a great job choosing the dress for the occasion, nothing “Cinderella-like”, nothing puffy, just a beautiful simple dress, beautiful color and a beautiful hair. Looks like she has grown up a lot in a week.

Diane Kruger looked stunning at this year’s SAG Awards. Maybe color is a little too pale for her, but other than that, beautiful.

Kyra Sedgwick looked fabulous this year. She looked very elegant in her dress.

Christina Applegate chose a great color for her dress, she looked like a princes with the vintage vibe to it.
