Cheating? Go to Therapy- Jesse James Entering Rehab
Since scandalous news broke of Jesse James’ cheating on his wife Sandra Bullock, James had been making extra effort in changing his bad boy image to “ repentant husband”. He issued a immediate apology to his wife, Bullock, earlier in the days of the scandal and went off the radar , all the while suffering severe backlash from both the press and Hollywood It stars who rallied to Sandra to go forward with a divorce. For a while, it seemed the “ remorseful” James was making effort to reconcile his marriage, until news broke out yet again, with accusations of him being a Neo- Nazi, followed by allegations of affairs with as many as five other women.
Sound familiar?
Late last year Tiger Woods found himself in the clutches of evidence pointing him as an infidel with a sex addiction and whom later resigned himself to sex rehab. He is now pronounced “cured”. Then there had been David Duchovny who had checked himself into rehab back in 2008. It seems James is following in infidelity’s footsteps and making headway to check into a treatment facility. According to his representatives who told People Magazine, James “ realized that this time was crucial to help himself, help his family and help save his marriage”.
Cheating has never been a surprise so much as the predictability of cheaters becoming remorseful when their infidelities come to light. Over the years we are acquainted with the various possibilities of why spouses cheat, whether it was the neglect or abandonment they get from their significant other , the ignominy of cheating has never been so prominent. Yet, these public figures who to place themselves in such disreputable positions have also brought to light this question, can cheaters redeem themselves by going to therapy? Sex rehabilitation no less?
What are your views on this? Is sex rehab a cure for infidelity?
