Kardashian Fashion Fall 2010: Kardashian Clothing Line for Bebe Pics and Video

Bebe has attracted some famous spokeswomen over the years, such as Eva Longoria for Bebe Sports and Mischa Barton at the height of her positive ‘OC’ fame. Barton is a controversial personality, but at the time she did manage to embody the classy yet youthful element that Bebe seems to promote. Having the Kardashians on board to ‘design’ highlights Bebe clothing’s tart-like overtones.

However, famous news outlets such as the New York Post’s website maintain that it is a match made in heaven.

Who better to ‘design’ a celebrity clothing line for Bebe, the home of anything skin-tight and short, than the Kardashian sisters? Naturally, every girl in America is blessed with Kim’s 1940s pin-up girl proportions, and will find the clothes perfectly suited for their body type. Okay, so that was a little bit of sarcasm, but it’s hard to take any business enterprise with the word “Kardashian” in it seriously.

The Kardashians are the new Hiltons, with their hit reality show Keeping up with the Kardashians and recently joining the design team at Bebe for creating a Kardashian collection. These girls have been front and center for the last year now, and I admit it’s a guilty pleasure; Sunday nights would not be the same without Kim, Klohe and Kourtney.

Their collection debuted at New York Fashion week and received good and bad reviews. Some critical comments were that the clothing was tight and to fit into the dresses, you may have to skip a few meals. Others said it was like stepping into the girl’s closet and it was delightful to see on the runway. The collection does remind me of Kim, Klohe and Kourtney, the clothes can transform from runway to the everyday office. Kim claims to be the sole creator of the designs and asked her sister for opinions and ideas.

With all of that in mind, the clothes themselves aren’t terrible. The purple one-shoulder deconstructed Hollywood-siren dress is the epitome of Kim’s style. A loud yellow V-neck dress with a plunging neckline and uber-short hemline is cute and doesn’t require much to accessorize it. However, one of the cardinal rules of fashion is not showing everything at once. Besides, such a neckline would look best on someone with a small bust, which none of the Kardashians have. The most covetable dress is wool-gray, tight, with the back cutout. Though it may require a few weeks of dieting, it is almost wearable enough for the everyday girl. Almost.

Hits: If you like the Kardashian style, than you will enjoy the collection! Clothes are affordable and good for day and night. The collection has done extremely well in sales. Good Job Bebe for getting together with these sisters!

Misses: Very tight and the colors are plain and simple. Good for the winter season but wouldn’t wear some of the items for summer. Pretty much everything is sold out already! Since there was such a high demand for them, the line is sold out.

Kim is currently working on a line of working out clothes. There is no launch date set at this time.
