2010 Summer Trend Alert: Rompers are the way to go!
Last summer the trend of rompers began to evolve. At first glance, they looked childish and silly on people, but there seems to have been a change of heart. All the celebrities are sporting the trend of rompers.
They were all over New York Fashion week in February creating a romper overload. This season, they are a great piece to add to any wardrobe and can be worn with a killer pair of wedges or layered jewelry to complete any look.
I went on a mission this weekend to find a cute, comfortable and not to cheesy romper and found two from Charlotte Russe. I am in love. If you quickly look at the romper, it looks like a sun dress. I opted for a light and airy purple romper and a light red or mauve colored romper with sleeves. Both are very comfortable and able to dress them up. I am in love with both of them. I have not worn them out yet; I have been prancing around in them in the privacy of my own home. But I am so excited when the weather heats up to venture out in one and take them on vacation.
It is a style risk and not all will like the romper look. I defiantly did not at first but they have grown on me especially seeing them on other girls. My advice is to try it out, you never know—you may have a change of heart. Lets see if they will be popular next year, I have a feeling we will be seeing them on everyone next summer.
