It’s a beautiful beginning of May for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, whom welcomed twins April 30th, of course on their 3rd anniversary. Only Carey and Cannon, whom secretly wed in 2008 could birth their firstborn on such a special day. They welcomed both a boy and a girl; the names have not been disclosed yet but Cannon hinted that they would be out of the box names, but not too crazy.
It was no secret that the 30 year old Cannon and forty-something Carey had wanted children since the day that they wed. They have openly admitted that they are big kids themselves, which is why they get along so well. Carey proudly displayed her pregnancy, wearing sheer clothing to the doctor’s office for a check-up and painting her growing belly.
After a disasterous marriage to Sony frontman, Tommy Mattola, Carey indulged herself like a petite princess…and she deserved all that she got. She was even public with a breakdown several years ago but like a true diva and class act, she came back and better than ever. Now, she finally has the family she longed for, both weighing in at 5 lbs and some ounces
