In the August issue of Complex magazine Beyonce not only pleased the eyes of the readers by looking stunning in the photoshoot, she also shared her views on life, entertainment industry abd her relationship with Jay-Z
Beyonce confessed that she is not afraid to compete with the new and old stars of the music business, by explaining her way of thinking
simply and concisely:
“On this planet there is room for many queens. I have a real talent, a true gift from God, energy and a longevity that has always differentiated me from everyone else. I was lucky to reach goals that the new generation of “queens” dream of achieving. I do not want anyone else’s throne.”
The star admitted that she feels very comfortable in her throne, the one that she’s been building for over the 15 years.
The singer talks about her professional relationship with Jay-Z, her admiration and love for him: “Jay’s music is not just music, it’s something more. His lyrics have grown for generations. All that has conquered so much gives hope to millions of people. There are times when I stop and watch his lips moving while composing music and think, ‘Wow, how did I get so lucky to have this genius so close to me? “
On her inner strength: “When I’m feeling down, I use my negative thoughts to motivate me to do more.”
Beyonce reveals that she avoids being depressed or upset and says that people who always cry and complain annoy her. She tries to use negative thoughts in a positive way in order to become a better person.
